Can't take apart an EMTEK entry set

I have a mortised entry set in my front door. When it was installed one of the two buttons on the side was depressed and this apparantly was the wrong one. If you unlock the door from the inside, it will not allow you to open the door from the outside. The way to fix this is to take the unit out of the door and reinstall it with the other button depressed. My problem is that I can't get the exterior deadbolt plate off so that I can slide the unit out of the side of the door. I don't see any screws that hold it in place, and I feel like I am going to break it if I pry it off. Any ideas? Thanks

Hope I can help! I have worked with Emtek before and some of the front plates are secured with screws from the the other side of the door. You may want to check if this is the case. if so remove the screws so you can remove the exterior plate. Best of luck. Hope this works!
I am trying to replace a Kwikset 970 3cp Max security dead bolt. I have taken all the screws out but the lock will not come apart. Any suggestion?
